OUR PRESIDENT

   

Robert Paige Mathews was born in Sedalia, Missouri in 1951. His "show me" roots are still evidenced in his corporate motto "Transforming Beliefs into Behaviors".

Paige graduated from High School in Galion, Ohio in 1969. He attended Ohio State University for two years majoring in Mathematics before enlisting in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1977 following four years of active duty and two years of inactive reserves. He made the decision to go into the ministry during his years in the military.

In 1979 Paige graduated from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee with a BS in Bible and Preaching (Magna Cum Laude). He was ordained into the Christian Ministry at First Christian Church in Orlando, Florida. He held two associate ministry positions in Tennessee and Florida before become the Senior Minister of Berwick Christian Church in Berwick, Pennsylvania. During this time he became the President of the Christian Evangelizing Association, a new church planting organization for Eastern Pennsylvania.

Paige received a MA in Communication Studies (Summa Cum Laude) in 1987. He then served as an Associate Professor of Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication for six years, also at Bloomsburg University, one of the 14 schools in the state system of higher education.

In 1993, Paige and his family participated as team members in a new church plant, Celebrate Life Christian Church, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. During this time, he began to work for The Christian Church Extension Foundation arranging mortgage financing, raising investment funds, and directing the "Faith in Action" capital fundraising program. In 1999, he moved his family to Denver, Colorado to become the Vice President.

In December of 2002, following the credit crisis proceeding from the attack of 911, The Christian Church Extension Foundation merged with the Church Development Fund.

Paige took a position with LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont, Colorado as Business Manager. LifeBridge has a membership in excess of 4,000 and operates 7 weekend services on three different campuses.

 

Paige also served as the Business Manager for the Corporation for Community Christian Connections, LifeBridge's relocation and development corporation. Paige and his wife are still members of and attend LifeBridge Christian Church. For more information on the church, please go to www.lbcc.org.

FIA Consulting, LLC was incorporated in 2003 to facilitate Paige's continuing desire to assist people and churches in implementing strategies to demonstrate their faith in tangible ministry and generosity. In 2006, Paige left LifeBridge Christian Church to devote fulltime efforts to his consulting work, not only through his own company, but also working for a time with Dickerson & Associates, also a fundraising firm. In April of 2008 Paige accepted a position as the Director of Development for the Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institute. Located in El Paso, TX, the Institute specializes in seminary level spanish language classes which lead to several options for ministry in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. In addition to the aforementioned resume, Paige has been a distributor with Inscape Publishing Company since 1992, providing products and seminars primarily related to the DiSC program, but working with the other products as well.

Paige is married to Lynne, since 1979, and they have two daughters, Mary Jo and Cheryl. Mary Jo and her husband Ryan recently gave birth to Paige's second grandson, Camden, who joins his older brother Roryn.
