Larry grew up and now lives in Washington, Indiana. He graduated from Johnson Bible College in 1969, and held ministries in Louisiana and Kentucky before joining Christ In Youth, Inc. in 1976 as the Assistant Director.
From 1979 - 1999, Larry served as Director of Admissions at Johnson Bible College, Knoxville, TN. He managed all aspects of the admissions program, including strategic planning, recruitment, accreditation, public relations, marketing, and alumni relations as these areas related to attracting students.
While in TN, Larry served as the National Ski Patrol Director for the Smoky Mountain National Park.
In 1999 Larry began work with The Christian Church Extension Foundation. He conducted capital fundraising programs for churches and assisted with CCEF's mortgage financing program. In 2002 The CCEF merged with CDF and Larry became the Vice President of FIA Consulting, LLC.
From 2004 through 2008, Larry also served as an associate with Dickerson and Associates of Colorado. In that capacity he served the Capital Stewardship Development needs of churches across America and Canada. During this period he expanded his experience into working with Christian Schools, Colleges, and Camps. He also served as Interim Director of Development for Stadia New Church Strategies of California.

An avid bike rider and woodcarver, Larry has written 6 woodcarving books. Larry is married to Myra and together they have one son, Jeff.
